E 61 Wifi Problems
I don't know abaout others but i had been facing some WiFi problems with my e 61 , the connectivity works great once I am in my room near the Wifi but as soon as i go downstairs the signals drop drastically , now my house is only on 9000 sq feet still it has problems connecting to my router when i am in my kitchen at the far end of the house , one story below . I have a Linksys WRT54g and WRT54gL , both now running custom Firmware running at 100mW still the range only improved by a few feet , on the other hand my Dell Inspiron can connect to it throughout the house

9000 sq ft is not that big only 90 x 100 ft , my Dell inspiron works well throughout the house except basement but E 61 does not catch signals a floor below , have to fix the position of my router and will see what happens
Mine was disconnecting very often and was loosing signal, but after the new firmware, everything's OK
I have fixed the connection a little , moved router a little further away from the wall now it covers the floor below still not at par with my Dell . P.S I have the new firmware installled .
I am also working on getting high gain antennas once i find the one at right price currenlty the linksys one cost USD 100 , else i will make me a Pringles Can Antenna
